Richard Lopez is a native of Miami, Florida and now calls San Diego, California home. He serves as the Chief Learning Officer and Brand Strategist for FounderFuego and creates inclusive learning opportunities for diverse founders.
His brand strategy increased conference registrants by 100 people, sold out tickets two weeks before the event, and landed $65,000 in elite corporate partnerships. He’s also landed a $15M investment for a university through a multimillion brand partnership with the Food Network South Beach Wine and Food Festival and increased sales by 16% for Norwegian Cruiselines after the pandemic through his sales decks.
He is Cuban-American, bilingual in Spanish, and leverages this skill to provide talent development services. He has over fifteen years of experience in hospitality working with global brands including Food Network, Pepsi, and Norwegian Cruise Line. This background coupled with his specialization in building and training teams at mega events such as the South Beach Wine and Food Festival, resorts, cruise lines, public health, and technology sectors.
Richard holds an MBA from Florida International University. His specialization in hospitality and digital design adds a creative edge that allows him to build, create, and deliver effective and inclusive learning opportunities that create a positive impact for teams in person and remotely in both English and Spanish, enhancing the ability to connect with diverse audiences.
He is the founder of Rich Lopez Consulting, which offers learning and development training and creative design work for the public and private sectors.
